IAABO Officials Schools

July 14-16, 2018

IAABO Officials’ Schools are dedicated to improving the officiating skills of the men and women who enroll. The program will be designed to benefit those who wish to embark upon a career in officiating as well as those who seek refinement of their skills. Classroom sessions will cover all aspects of officiating with lectures, films, workshops and testing. During the afternoon and evening sessions, all officials will officiate games.

The closest school is at Susquehanna University.  Tuition is $300, which includes meals and lodging.  There are other locations across the country.

Maurer Development Camp

Will resume in 2019!

The camp mission is to focus on three person officiating crew procedures, with the emphasis on NFHS rules, signals and mechanics. Staff will include experienced clinicians that will critique and evaluate your performance.

Mid-Atlantic Officials Camp - Towson University

June 15-17, 2018

The Mid-Atlantic Officiating Camp, directed by NCAA Tournament officials Sean Hull and Bernard Clinton, focuses on three person officiating and the key metrics needed to take your career in a new direction. The camp staff is comprised of top notch NCAA officials and includes on the court and video instruction.  This session will be held at Towson University.

Mid-Atlantic Official's Camp - University of Maryland

June 23-24, 2018

This camp is part of the University of Maryland Team Camp Shootout hosted by Coach Mark Turgeon. The teams will feature regional AAU and high school teams from all over the Mid-Atlantic region. New and veteran officials will benefit from situations on and off the court. This camp will be held at the University of Maryland, College Park.
